A lovely image from esteemed American illustrator Jessie Willcox Smith, best known for her illustrations of idealized children. Smith painted the covers for Good Housekeeping magazine for 15 years, but this little girl enjoying a day at the beach is from the 1910 book A Child's Book of Old Verses.
